Dear Customers,
we are sending you the most frequently asked questions:
Travelling with children
If you are planning to travel with children, here is an overview of the ticket and luggage prices in the booking:
Infants from 8 days to 23 months
Infants up to 23 months sit on an adult's lap (cabin crew will provide a child seat belt). You can carry 2 pieces of baby equipment per child free of charge (1 sports stroller + car seat, booster seat or travel cot) - the number depends on the airline you choose. There is a baby changing counter at the rear of the aircraft. On-board staff can heat up a baby bottle on request.
There is no baggage allowance for infants. However, the accompanying adult may carry a child's baggage weighing up to 5 kg (45 × 35 × 20 cm) in addition to his/her cabin baggage.
The price for an infant is CZK 850 per one-way ticket, i.e. CZK 1,700 for a return ticket. If you are travelling with an infant, please book as an adult. In the case of a cheaper ticket, we will contact you with the balance up to the price of CZK 1,700, or we will immediately refund the difference for the more expensive ticket back to your credit card. You can also contact us via online chat, where we will issue your order manually.
Travel with children from 2 years to 11 years
Children are already seated in their own seats and the standard ticket price applies, to an adult. The child sits free of charge next to the adult and the ticket includes a free sports pram or car seat at the check-in desk for your flight. Luggage for children is the same size as for an adult.
Travelling while pregnant
Unless your doctor decides otherwise, you can travel by air up to the 34th week of pregnancy. After this recommended period, you must show proof of a document from the doctor who approved the travel.
If you have any further questions about travelling with children, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@flightics.com or via the online chat (bottom right).
What can and can't I take on the plane?
When packing your hand luggage, please remember the restrictions on liquids, i.e. drinks, cosmetics etc. Remember that gels, creams, aerosols, shaving foams, toothpaste and lotions are particularly controlled. Liquids can only be carried in hand luggage in containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml. All containers must fit into a 1-litre plastic clear bag.
Exceptions to the above rule apply to infant food and medicines required during the flight.
There is no ban on carrying food in hand luggage in the European Union, so you can take snacks on board. We can carry food on board the aircraft in both hand luggage and checked baggage.
What can't I take on the plane?
