Flightics is a search engine from the Czech Republic founded in 2016. Flightics originally started as a search engine for backpackers to search for cheap trips around Europe. During the first year, classic return flights and weekend tickets were added to the offer. Flightics primarily focuses on searching for flights within Europe, but in the near future will add the cheapest flights to America, Asia and around the world tickets. Flightics will be a great tool for avid travellers who want to see as many amazing places as possible for as little money as possible.

History

History of Flightics.com

2012

The basic idea of our own search engine came in 2012. As university students, we were looking for ways to travel cheaply and on any date. We were therefore looking for a search engine that would facilitate the trip search itself so that we could use the cheapest tickets and at the same time get to know as many destinations as possible. But none of these existed and trying different variants was always time-consuming and complicated. We also organized trips for our friends, classmates and relatives. That's why we decided to simplify this way of travelling for everyone and started thinking about Flightics.

2015

In 2015, we realized the idea and released our first beta version, with which we won the main prize from KLM and Transavia at the start-up scene in Rotterdam.

2016

In March 2016, Flightics.com went live. Since then, Flightics has been live for our customers - enthusiastic travellers and backpackers around the world.

2018

We have also added classic return tickets and Euroweekends to the search engine. We have thus improved the existing offer of multi-city flights for our customers.

2020

2020 was a challenging year not only in the aviation industry. Despite all the difficulties, we provided a refund of funds to all our customers, or we issued a voucher (if the customer was interested in a voucher).

2021

Thanks to the corona crisis, we have become stronger and we continue to improve our services and offers on the website.
